For all my fellow abstract artists, there is a great theme/challenge going on at
Abstract Deviants. This club has been around for quite awhile, but has been out of commission for almost a year.
Recently,volcomchick
took over the administration and has done a lot of work getting the club back up and running in the last month. As the club has been down for awhile, I thought I would give you the news so you can go on over and check them out. You can submit a work once a week there.
Abstractdeviants theme/challenge this month is Black and White. It is a wonderful opportunity for all of you to dust off an abstract you have in grayscale, or create a new piece to meet the challenge. Any genre of abstract is accepted, so if you are a 3D artist or photographer don't hesitate to participate.
volcomchicK has listed all the particulars on
. I have met and viewed so many wonderful abstract artists here at DA, I have no doubt the competition would be spectacular! I found the theme a bit of a challenge, hanging on to my color
. But it was fun to try to do something different. So skip on over and submit a piece of work when you get a chance.
There is another great abstract club here on DA run by Peggy Minton, 4bstr4ct4rt
. Peggy's work was recently featured as a Daily Deviation.
Abstractography
has just opened it's doors to abstract and surreal artists of all genres. They have wonderful features and a GREAT chat.
All of these folks are doing a wonderful job providing communities and features for abstract artists on DA. Give them a look, some participation and a little DA love
And to all of you who have taken the time to stop by, I want to thank you for all the support, help, insights and inspiration you have given.
Looking forward to a TON of black and white wonders
